Saeco Nina Bar

The Nina Bar Traditional Espresso Machine machines brings high-end coffee to the masses! Equipped with a patented, pressurized filter holder, this model allows the user to tamp and brew one or two shots of espresso coffee the traditional way - controlling the extraction time and amount of grounds used. They also provide convenience to the user who prefers brewing with pods all while taking up less counter space.

• Pressurized Portafilter: The Nina Bar uses a patented nickel plated brass pressurized portafilter that makes it easy to create the perfect espresso. The patented portafilter ensures a great extraction of espresso by pressurizing the brewing chamber, creating the perfect brewing environment. This is accomplished through a small spring-loaded valve located below the filter basket. The valve remains closed until enough pressure builds to open it and release the espresso. The high pressure forces the flavor and aroma out of the coffee, making a delicious espresso with a thick golden crema.

   

• Pod Capability: A special filter basket and a pod adapter accessory allows the pressurized portafilter to accommodate the Easy Serving Espresso (E.S.E) pods. The E.S.E. pods (which can be purchased separately) brew the perfect amount of coffee and leave no mess to clean up afterwards.

   

• Steam Wand with Pannarello Frother: Saeco's steam wand with the Pannarello frother is perfect for making those delicious cappuccinos and lattes. The Pannarello is easy to remove and is made of two parts that can be disassembled for quick clean up. The wand is made of stainless steel and swivels to accommodate different sized frothing pitchers or mugs. It also dispenses hot water.

   

• Cappuccinatore: In addition to the steam wand, the Nina Bar comes with a Cappuccinatore, an automatic milk-frothing device. Simply open the steam knob and the Cappuccinatore will draw milk from a separate milk container. This device will froth or steam the milk, then dispense it directly into your cup to make a cappuccino or latte.

   

• Touch Interface: The easy-to-use control panel shows has large, clear icons. Two brew buttons ensure the perfect amount of espresso brewed each time. Control lights show when the machine is “ready to brew” and “ready to steam."

   

• Cup Warming Surface: Stack several porcelain or ceramic cups on this large and convenient heating surface. The cup warming surface keeps your cups and espresso at an optimal temperature while enhancing the full flavors and aromas extracted from the bean.

   

• Pump System: The Nina Bar features a powerful pump rated at 15 bars (217.6 psi) of pressure. Authentic Italian coffee requires this steady pressure to produce a premium extraction.

   

• Boiler:The Nina Bar features a durable stainless steel boiler. The steel resists corrosion and ensures a longer life span for the machine.

   

• Removable Water Tank: The Nina Bar features a large removable 50 oz. water tank. Many delicious drinks can be prepared before the tank needs to be refilled. The water tank is transparent, making it easy to check and maintain the water level.

   

• Housing: The body of the Nina Bar is constructed of durable ABS plastic. The drip tray is also made of stainless steel, while the drip pan is made of ABS plastic.
